Acting for both employers and employees, Sally provides honest and straight forward advice on a wide range of employment law and human resources matters, providing solutions that are specifically tailored for each individual client’s needs.
Based at our offices on Winckley Square, Preston, Sally regularly receives instructions from employers including business owners, directors, managers and HR advisors on a wide range of matters including disciplinary and grievance matters, performance management, sickness absence, contracts of employment, staff handbooks, settlement agreements and employment tribunal claims.
Sally advises businesses in relation to GDPR and data protection regulations, ensuring that they are fully compliant in terms of their policies, procedures and documentation. She also regularly delivers training sessions on the subject, educating all levels of the business on their data protection responsibilities.
Sally also acts for employees at both senior and junior level within both the private and public sector. She regularly assists employees who are facing disciplinary action, have been treated unfairly in the workplace and advises employees on potential employment tribunal claims including unfair dismissal, constructive dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing. Sally also regularly advises employees who have been offered a settlement agreement by their employer or who wish to negotiate terms leading to the termination of their employment.
