Debbie King

Debbie is a Partner and Head of Corporate at Farleys, based in our Shadsworth Commercial office, with over 20 years experience in Corporate law.

Having originally set up Farleys dedicated Corporate team, Debbie now specialises in business and company acquisitions and sales,  complex restructures of groups of companies, investments, joint ventures and mergers.

Regularly appearing in business magazines offering advice on corporate law, company law and business investments, she was also a regular columnist in the Solicitors Journal for over six years, writing the Company Law Update until its close.

Debbie works closely with financial advisors, firms of accountants and business advisors across the region, providing all aspects of corporate advice and support to a wide range of businesses.

Debbie was awarded the Lancashire Dealmaker Personality of the Year 2008 at the North West Business Insider Magazine Dealmaker of the Year Awards. Debbie was also named ‘Best Legal Adviser of the Year’ in 2015 at the Downtown Women in Business Awards and was also shortlisted in 2016 and 2017.
