It was widely reported over the weekend that 13 members of an organised crime ring spanning Lancashire, Merseyside and Cumbria had pleaded guilty to conspiring to supply drugs of classes A, B and C. They will be sentenced at a later date.
What was not reported was that we represented a client who was also charged with conspiring to supply drugs of class A, namely cocaine. Our client pleaded not guilty and, following extensive defence analysis and preparation, the jury acquitted our client. We have been unable to write about this until now due to reporting restrictions imposed by the Court.
Farleys’ Serious Crime and Special Casework Unit prides itself on thorough preparation and the highest standard of client care.
The client commented: ‘the most satisfying aspect of the service was a very friendly solicitor’¦available 24 hours’¦and willing to travel’¦[their family] felt as though they had someone on their side and I was put at ease at the most terrifying and stressful time of my life’.
Another satisfied client!
