Senior Criminal Executive
Lorraine joined Farleys’ criminal defence team in April 2021. Prior to joining the firm, her career in law started at Preston Magistrates Court when she took at part time job while bringing up a young family. Interested in crime she then joined the criminal law department of a Preston solicitors and became qualified as a police station accredited representative in 2001.
Lorraine has vast experience dealing with all manner of offences from relatively minor offences of theft and criminal damage to more serious offences of rape and murder and attends upon clients at the police station as well as other establishments where an interview under caution is required. Not limited to attending upon clients at the police station, Lorraine’s experience extends to representing clients who face questioning by the DWP, often for fraud or over payment of benefits and to patients detained in secure hospitals.
Lorraine also assists in the Crown Court department dealing with serious and complex cases.
